Management of the Charities

The charities are managed by the ten Trustees, majority of whom live in Hampton-In-Arden, with the assistance of a Clerk.  Six Trustees are appointed for a period of four years one by the Magistrates of Solihull, three by the Hampton-In-Arden Parish Council and two by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

A further four persons are co-opted by the Trustees for a period of five years.  The ten Trustees meet quarterly to discuss the management of its assets and to decide future policies. Charities are only able to spend their income so the endowed capital is invested by the Trustees with the aims of protecting the capital and maximising the income.

The accounts of both Charities are prepared and audited annually in accordance with the Companies Act and the Charity Commission regulations and sent to the Charity Commissioners, the Company Registrars, and the Hampton-In- Arden Parish Council.
